We are very excited here at Garden Queen for all of the new and wonderful products that are in the works for the new year!
Just to give you a little taste of what we have in the works, there are bubble baths, clay masks, foot scrubs, and liquid body washes. We are very much looking forward to having an entire line of body care products made with the the finest natural ingredients, this way our valuable customers will be able to find everything they need with us! Garden Queen is a partnership between two friends who have grown up in the beautiful southwestern desert together. We have always had a fascination with the plants that surround us, finding out and experimenting with their beneficial qualities continues to amaze and delight us. There are endless combinations of ingredients that have been a source of joy for us to combine, both for the benefits of the skin, and the endless benefits that aromatherapy can have on the senses.

Angela Quayle is a horticulturist who has had a significant amount of training in the growing of herbs, and their medicinal benefits for both external and internal use. She is the member of our team that takes loving care of most of the organic botanicals that go into our fine products. Her experience is invaluable to our success as ‘Garden Queens’. When it comes to Angela, a ‘green thumb’ is an understatement.

Melissa Lourenco specializes in the most concentrated form of plants, essential oils. She has dedicated much of her time studying the effects of essential oils on the body. Her concentration is on different peoples skin types and needs. She has discovered that finding the right oil for the right job can make huge improvements for both the skin and well being. Melissa also enjoys doing custom oil blends for individual needs. She has a ‘magic touch’ with her creations.

With the combined experience of Angela and Melissa, we believe we have a strong foundation for the production of the natural skin care products that have become a very important part of our lives. We have an understanding that the skin is the largest organ of the body, and without proper care, it won’t function as the natural barrier it is intended to be. We also understand that what you put on your skin gets absorbed into your body, that is another very good reason to use natural and organic products rather than the alternative.

With Garden Queen products, you will be just as delighted using the wonderful products we create as we are making them for you. We understand that everyone’s skin is as unique and individual as they are themselves, and for this reason if you have any questions about your individual needs, we are always more than happy to consult with you about them.

Olive Oil Soaps and their benefits

Our Olive base is a glycerin soap base that is transparent with a slightly green hint of color. This base contains functional amounts of olive oil which acts as a great moisturizer for the skin. Glycerin, a natural emollient, draws moisture out of the air to benefit skin health. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy skin. And, since we use no heavy animal oils, our soap rinses clean and leaves no soapy film behind. All our soap bases are produced from the highest quality double distilled and deodorized clear coconut oil, forming luxurious lather and sparkling clarity.

The soaps in our collection that incorporate Olive Oil are, Lavender Rosemary, Rosemary Mint, and June Moon.
